Technician Class Resources

The WVARA will be holding a Technician Amateur Radio License Class beginning on Tuesday evening, September 4, 2018.

Classes will be held at:

Glas-Col Annex
1715 South 8th Street
Terre Haute, IN  47802
Map & Driving Directions

Class sessions will begin at 6:30 PM and will end no later than 9:30 PM.

Course fee is $30 and includes the course textbook:

Ham Radio License Manual, 4th Edition (ARRL)
(Previous editions are obsolete and should not be used.)

If you already have the textbook, the course fee is $5.   Course fee is due at the first class session.

Pre-registration is not required, but is strongly encouraged.   Click on the button below to register for the Technician License Class.

NOTE: A new Technician examination question pool went into effect on July 1, 2018 and a new edition of the textbook covering the new question pool was released in May.

The slide presentations are currently being revised to include the changes made to the question pool and to the textbook. The slides for each class session will be made available as soon as they are completed.
