The W.V.A.R.A. Inc., is a non-profit corporation organized circa. 1927, chartered as an ARRL-Affiliated club April 5, 1934 and Incorporated as 501(c)(3) April 27, 1972. Our purpose is to extend knowledge of the radio art, to advance the general interest and welfare of amateur radio in the community, to encourage service to the public, and to promote friendly social contact among amateurs everywhere.

How to join

Dues are $20.00 per year, payable in January. Family memberships are $5.00 extra for each licensed member of your family who wishes to join. (Note: Only one copy of the Bandspread will be sent to each family.) Life memberships are available for 20 times the individual member dues rate of $20.00 ($400.00). Additionally your ARRL membership dues may be paid through the club. Complete the membership application and return it to the club. (Applications received after August 31st will count towards the next calendar year.)
